If you can afford to spurge a little, this is a much better/longer lasting design:

It is a little pricey though, at around $2 =)

I have made a couple, they work pretty decent for a DIY deal, but unfortunately met an early demise in the jaws of my buddies dog.... =(

I just ended up ordering a simple adjustable bounce card the other day from here:

I'll maybe do a couple comparison shots when it shows up.

try rotating the bounce card 90 degrees on the flash head, then rotate your flash head 90 degrees back the opposite way to bring it all back. makes it so much easier to switch to portrait on the fly and still be able to bounce.

first shots with ghetto bounce card...which ended up in the garbage after accidently put something ontop of the paper..

I used foam from Michaels and some velcro to hold it together.
Gets the job done, and it's soft =P
