Haven't seen a thread dedicated to this one. Good take out sushi places. You know for those nights your just want to have some sushi at home. Not just huge portions like Samurai, but actually good sushi, and not too expensive. I found a place on Kingsway called Sushi King which actually turned out to be pretty good, looking for other suggestions.

Any recommendations for people living east of the Port Mann, like Langley?

Yeah that place is pretty bad... I ordered salmon sashimi there once and it came with 9 pieces, each piece was 2-3 inches thick. I went home and sliced each piece into 3 separate pieces. And that crepe shit they use to wrap the sushi? Wtf is that.

Fujiya...never disappoints me!
Sushi Han @ #2 and Blundell in the strip mall... or Takeya @ Seafair mall @ #1 and Francis... both are small japanese family owned restaurants

isn't samurai and sushi king about the same in terms of quality and portions ??

agreed. i wouldn't call that "good" takeout. more like takeout that will give you the shits. whoever thought of putting banana into sushi (sushi world) is fucking retarded.

What's the price range for Matzusushi? and how is it compared to Sushi Cali?
Better quality? A lot more expensive, etc?
