got a question. I'm trying to get into flash photography(strobist?) and i was wondering if what kind of wireless transmitter device should i be using to trigger like an SB-25.

I went to broadway camera and they told me to get pocket wizards. but in order for an off-camera flash to work, i'd have to get 2 pocket wizards. 1 for the flash and 1 for the body. the body i'm using is d300.

is there any other device out there that would make my SB-25 to work just fine if i do off-camera flash?? just for the mean time.. TIA :)

cactus style triggers. they run for $20 tranmitter + reciever. el cheapo alternative to PW's but can be anoying with miss fires and the sync speed and can in consistent. i cant get past 1/125 shutter speed with my cactus triggers.
