Pretty good fight, but I don't think Downie saw Janssen signaling to end the fight.

Agreed. And is elbowing the guy in the face with your elbow pads (regardless if it's during a fight) even allowed?

They totally exhausted themselves from their wrestling match.

In my opinion, that was a nice long fight with both sides exchanging hits.
What would you guys considered a good fight?

A one-sided 3 seconds fight ending with a big KO?

About a minute in, but on second view, I think he was trying to get his glove off.

That fight lasted too long. A lot of the time was spent with the 2 guys dancing around and twirling each other, which is why they both were so tired at the end of the fight. If big blows aren't thrown within the first 10 seconds, the fight is going to suck.

If a hockey shift is supposed to last 40 seconds, you know a minute long fight is going to suck.

In my mind, a good fight is one where both guys are throwing and landing bombs on each other.

The ref's could have gone in and ended the fight a little bit earlier. But again, it is up to the ref's descision as to when it is safe for them to go in and end the fight. It is a bit of a joke the fight was allowed to go on for so long, especially since both guys were so tired by the end.
