I need to pick up a PSU in the coming days, but I don't know of many computer places in town. Only shops i can think of are: Sneakers Computers, and Boomers Computers. Any other suggestions?
I don't really care who made the PSU, what quality it is, etc. All I'm looking for is Amperage.

Integrity (on the old island highway by the view royal fire station) or Mothers if you're looking for a high end one of the shelf.

Integrity is good, and I've used Paradon before. If you're not adverse to buying online, www.directcanada.com has good deals, and I've ordered multiple times from them with no issues.

I prefer local, and these units are NOT going into a computer - as said, I don't need super "quality" units, but rather something that can be used, abused, and replaced.
I'm looking to pick something up on friday.

Paradon by the Bay street bridge is the only place I bought computers and related parts for years.

I find the prices at Ecom Computers are usually pretty good. They are next to the White Spot on Quadra near McKenzie.

i recommend NCIX as well! I always deal with with for computer stuff now! I usually get my stuff the next day depending on when I ordered the items. Plus they have a pricematch option. And I usually use shopbot.ca for the best price to pricematch with.

I've had good dealings for years with Priority One on Oak and have also had good experience with Craig at Integrity. Since he's a fellow REVscener, may as well support him.

I have a couple of antec truepower 380w units from older computers for sale if the wattage/amperage meets your needs... cheaper than new. both work fine just not needed.
let me know if you want the specs

It now begins and ends with www.newegg.ca.
The BEST service and shipping in the world. Hands down.

Do they ship UPS from the States or from a Canadian warehouse? I saw that they've got a Canadian domain when they first started it, but saw UPS in their shipping info when I was skeptical. UPS = rectal bleeding + anal leakage for a week.
