please post your experience purchasing vehicles at repo.com.
good? bad?
thanks
I wouldn't really trsut them. If you buy from them, do your homework first. I checked out a TSX that supposedly had $5000 damage from a rear end collision. Turns out after running a complete ICBC report on the car, it was previously a write off. Just be careful if you buy from them.

My sister bought her suv from there, no complaints. Just make sure you get a history report on the car you're considering to buy.

Repo sells repos, obviously. Most of the cars gotta get the ok from the bank before they can sell them. A lot of the times, the asking price is dictated by the banks, then they take on a $300 commission. Most of the times, they do not have a complete history on the car, because it would cost $$$ to get it.
That being said, of the cars I looked at there, most were not worth the asking price. A lot of the cars were not properly taken care of by the previous owner, which makes sense since they were repo'd. Wife's brother bought a car from them, cheap. Power windows were not working and left open, battery was dead, body damage from and rear, and water damage from the open window.
The stereo and alarm was ripped out from the car.
Definately buyer beware.

I once went there to check out an 06 civic si, It had been vandalized by the previous owner, prolly because he knew the bank was gonna take it away , price reflected the damage though. The bad thing about repo.com is that they don't regotiate on the price.

most of the time it looks cheaper on the alberta site. but keep in mind with their road conditions they almost always need windshields
