I would assume so. When I got my 40D they guy was super nice and gave me the receipt too. So technically I have 10 months warranty left on it, and I saved good $300+ on it.

If you get this MK2... man, that's a smokin' deal. :)

Apparently the guy's an idiot because someone else posted on craigslist that they emailed him multiple times and he's not getting back to anyone... So I dunno how real this is...
