: Has anybody thrashed the Lexus IS-F demo car at Rmd?

The silver car with the "IS-F" plate at Richmond Lexus... Who has messed with it? Burnouts during test drives? Who has ripped it to redline with 30km on the odo? lol

Apparently it's got 2500 km on it now. Saw it at the lot and curious as to the demonstration history.

it's a demo car with over 400hp, I think some thrashing was done. :)

I saw the car. It seems like a very good deal. But the car has definitely been thrashed.

I thot all the cars r thrashed b4 being shipped from the manufacturer just to make sure everything is good.

meh not like u won't trash on it after you bought one. Pre-trashed. Just like quality pre-owned.

Plus, you would cry if you saw the way most of these cars are driven on the way to the dealership. Those 4-10km's on the odometer when the car arrives at the dealership are probably the hardest km's that that engine will see, especially the high performance ones.

oh that IS-F...

ya.. it was very fast!

i ripped it from ~10km/h to ~135km/h. . . I didn't look at the ODO reading though..

tested it's handling+suspensions+braking..

yup.. it's good to go!

i'm pretty sure that car has been ripped 0-100km/h more than you, me, and the cashiers at T&N all combined ripped on our own cars.

one of the managers in openroad lexus has that car on demo, saw an asian man driving it out on that long main road outside the automall, he was rippin it pretty hard. its a demo WGAF!!

All ex demo cars get ragged, think of all the idiots that drive it, lot boys, parts guys, sales guys, there the people to watch out for not the test drivers.
