My car got broken into, luckily the radar detector was in my glove box and the thieves didn't have enough time too look through my entire car. So i just want to get rid of all my electronics so hopefully i woudln't have any more break ins.

yup u can just plug it in the cigeratte lighter and it works right away.
Yup its the latest version. U can even check the id# on the valentine one to see it is the most current version.

I'll post the id# up later since i don't have the radar detector with me at work.

a noob question,how long is the wire from the cigarette lighter to the valetine one,because i want to tuck it in n dun want the wire to b dangling in the middle

u can hotwire the valentine one where it taps into your cigerate lighter and it goes to the right panel and up the roof for a clean install if your going to put it on the top of the mirror. (so u can not see the wire)

the cigerate wire is good for putting it at the bottom of the windshield.

if that makes any sense. i can take a picture of it on my car rite now if u want.
