how many cells is the battery and how long does it last

3 cells standard.. lasts about 2.5-3 hours.. depending on how you use it? 6cell is cheap from ebay.

just a quick question
where did you buy it new??
i looked at tigerdirect but it doesn't have the option of choosing glossy or matte? (or is only matte available? i want glossy)
