Was looking into a few laptops and was thinking about this toshiba they have on sale right now at bestbuy for 799
Toshiba Satellite 14.1" Laptop featuring Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8400 (E100-004)
http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10112414&catid=20354
only thing that it doesn't have that I want is a dedicated graphics card
So anyone have some recommendations as to which would be a good choice in something 14.1" or 13.......
Thanks :)

Price Range? Why are you getting a laptop (purpose)?? it would help narrow down the selections...

Yeah it was out of stock but best buy at metro got a few in last evening apparently...
Anyways reason for getting a laptop mainly just to watch movies via hdmi out (to get best possible picture), internet, audio mixing, some gaming and photoshop
Price range around 1200ish
Also wouldn't mind a comparable AMD either

Oh and was thinking about getting this from us:
Hp dv3510nr

Satalites are the lowest of toshiba.. STAY AWAY!!!! If you want something that will last you. Go with what dragonone says.. Asus or Apple even dell if you like them... I only recommend dell because of their warranty (9am nextday parts)... My favorite notebook in appearance is ASUS but LG has some nice ones aswell but not as good performance..
I dont use apple so I wouldnt really know.. My tier 2 tech loves dells studio xps m1330 with the backlight keyboard (he likes it better than his mac and hes a mac fan)...
DONT GO HP...

LG's are 3 years.. Atleast the ones i sell are... Anyways if you really are sticky on price just custom build one on Dell.ca that way you can build and price to your needs.. I recommend for a home notebook the XPS M1330... Very nice if not better than a macbook.. depending on your preference... My opinion go with a notebook with a backlight keyboard...
