: Time period to get a keg?

A few years back, I tried to get a keg at my house for the next night.

I didn't know there was a wait time, so it didn't happen.

I want to get a keg for this Friday, I was going to call Big River brewing in Richmond, but if I remember, they had shitty beer selection.

Is the waiting period for a keg over 5 business days? And where in Richmond (other than Big River) can I rent a keg w/accessories and get it filled?

EDIT:
Granville Island sells kegs with a 2-3 day wait, but don't want to drive to granville island just to pick it up.

I've only ordered from GIB in the past and have never had a problem. Longest I had to wait was 2 days and that was during mid summer. Can't go wrong with their Honey Lager IMO.

YES, you can rent the ice bucket and pump along with the Keg.

How much does a keg usually go for?

I was pretty sure it was in $160-180 range...not sure tho

I will call the Keg tomorrow and see what they got on tap

GIB is the best choice....it'll be my plan B
