file wont delete



its 0 bytes and it wont damn delete
tried safe mode no work
tried cmd del no work
tried to rename it no work
tried to copy over the file with another one no work

any other way?

A cmd > chkdsk /f might work. It'll fix any file system anomalies, which will let you delete that file.

I used Unlocker once, as Stevie P mentioned, forgot why though, but it worked when I had trouble deleting a file.

problem fixed... i used nod32 to quarantine the file then deleted it

another tool to delete a file in use is hijackthis
