Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

it's still 1920x1080 regardless...
I am looking at my 24" 6inches away from it...same visual effect...lol.

anyway, I can fit a full size video card in my cheapo GTR HTPC case I bought in Hong Kong.
$50 with 380w PSU. Not bad for me. Not sure if you can find one in Vancouver.

My Antec Fusion case measures 9 7/8" where the PCI-e slot is located. Measure your card and see if it fits.

The case only supports a uATX board, and the amount of space you have for a video card is roughly the same as the length of the motherboard

Any specific requirements for the case other than it needs to fit a GTX260?

Price?
Do you want one with a display?
Size?
Do you need one with or without a P/S?

Would you consider the ThermalTake Lanbox Lite as an HTPC?

That's what I'm using right now.
ThermalTake Lanbox Lite
BFG GTX260
Cosair 520W
Silverstone Nitrogon nt-06
Intel E2160 @ 2.7ghz

Or you can get one of these

Wow!
They look fantastic! I'm thinking of building a new htpc now. Maybe with the mini. Wonder if it'll fit a dual slot graphics card.

Building a SFF system with a GTX 260 is a recipe for disaster. The power needs and heat is going to be an issue.

i dont see the point of an HTPC anymore since the WDTV HD player came out ($120).. plug in your USB HDD and ur good to go. unless u wanna surf the net on ur HDTV.. but any crapass pc with a recent $30 video card with HDMI output can do that.

plus... i tried surfing the net on my 42" 1080p.. even at that res it was hard to read at more than 13 feet, same with my 26" 720p. cant read the text clearly at more than 5 feet. so... surfing net is pretty pointless on a big tv.

If you are in my room, ull see why I need a HTPC but not a HD Media Box.

I need PC gaming + HD movies + Music...etc.
and Shit loaded of HDD 10+ TB full of Blu-Ray images.

A computer can do way more stuff than HD Media Box.

They are really really sexy man!!

I probably will wait for these to come out.
I would say they'll be somewhere around $500+ as well.

But, I won't mind that $500....compare to how much i already spend for my room.

WDTV is nice, except it doesn't decode DTS audio. Hence you need a receiver or you have to re-encode in DD 5.1. (I have both a HTPC and the WDTV and I find I don't use the WDTV as much because I"m too lazy to re-encode all my movies) Mind you, a re-encode doesn't take long - about 10 minutes per movie so it's not too bad for a one off movie (usually the case when I take the WDTV over to a friends house so we can watch a BluRay rip without having to haul my entire HTPC.)
