Ok so I was using msn on my Xperia last week.. and then an hour later after I signed out, I found all of the msn contacts in my phonebook on my phone..
So I was like wtf, and deleted them all off my phonebook. NOT KNOWING THAT IT AUTO SYNCS

So then this morning when I was in bed.. I decided to go on msn to see who's online.. JUST TO FIND 3 CONTACTS. I then went to my computer and signed in, luckily, my contacts were all still there.
HOWEVER! 15 minutes ago, my msn singed out and signed back in by itself.. AND NOW I ONLY HAVE 3 CONTACTS!! :cry:

What should I do?!?!
Is readding everyone the only thing I can do? T__T

windows live sucks shit, I uninstalled it and installed the old windows live messenger 8.5

and yes I think the only way is for you to add everyone back

I had no choice.. it was on my phone..
damn. this sucks.
there were some people on my list that I only contacted through msn.. FML

Maybe put a note on your MSN saying you accidentally deleted all your contacts and ask people to add you back... because they should still have you on their list even if you deleted them off your's.

MSN > Options > Privacy > Contact List > See Who Has Added You On Their List.

=] At least you can get back everyone that has you.
If they don't and you have them, then too bad for you...

this is why windows mobile phones suck ass
i had an HTC phone before and did the same thing but luckily only deleted one contact.
i'm never using windows mobile again.

I fixed it! and it wasn't that hard. I just had to right click the email and click add contact!

When I go to Windows Live > Sync Options on my phone, the "Store Windows Live contacts in your mobile phone's contact list" option is greyed out, but its checked.. What does it mean? Is it still gona sync?

This happened to my HTC Diamond. Good thing I had PIM Backup, so all my phone contacts (same as the ones on my Windows Live) were backed up. All I had to do was manually import them back to Windows Live through my phone (took about an hour). Then I went to backup my Windows Live contacts through Messenger. Lesson learned, backup yo SHIT!

when you first sign in on a wm phone it asks you if you want sync your contacts, maybe you should have actually looked at the what you were accepting?

how did you think that it would sync your WLM to your phone, but not the other way around? SimplyComplex posted the fix, which is easy, but wow.

I never went through anything nor accepted anything when i first logged into windows live messenger.. but right now I can't even stop it from syncing cuz the option is greyed out for some reason
