pay as you go sim cards

i'm home for 2 weeks,

does anybody know the going rates for purchasing pay as you go (sim only) from the different GSM carriers in Vancouver? they don't seem to like to advertise their prices, and i've read that they do actually sell them.

it's too bad, cuz you can pick up sims for free in the UK. makes it so convenient (especially if you're a drug dealer... :P )

Here you would have to buy the sim card so about $40 in stores. It's cheaper to buy a phone and get the prepay sim card. Cheapest is usually around $70 at Bestbuy, Futureshop, Petro Canada, or 7-11. Fido comes with $25 when you activate and PC or 7-11 comes with only $5.
