We conducted an experiment.

I am fully aware that tits = power; but how do these restaruants keep getting away with this?

I know a girl who helps in the hiring process at Cactus. There is definitely a certain "look" you need.

From what I see, have seen, and have heard from others. There are a lot of businesses whose practices are contrary to the law that makes it seem that the Employment Act is just more of a guideline than the law. However unfortunate that is.

I have seen many an employers deliberately take advantage of the fact that the average person is not well versed of the Employment Act and one's rights and privileges.

The thing is how does anyone prove that they didnt get hired because they didnt have the right look?
Just because someone has experience doesnt mean they will get hired.

All they need to do is hire 1 girl that is the opposite of what you're trying to prove and they're good.

i.e. if somebody is sayin they're hiring by skin colour then all they have to do is hire 1 black person and there's nothing you can do.

I think I versed my statement poorly and people may have missed my point. I was saying that despite the laws outlined in under the Employment Act, they're not exactly rules that are enforced anyways. Hence the "only a guideline" statement.

ie.
An employer cannot discriminate applicants based on race. However, I doubt a non-Chinese person would yield opportunities applying to a Chinese restaurant. Whereas technically it's in the wrong, it's pretty much socially accepted.

Socially accept in my opinion because these jobs aren't educationally qualifying jobs. Yes you can't descriminate, but I would go with a hot/big titty women that gives good eye candy then not.

If it helps business, thats how you should proceed.

like penner said, there's absolutely no way to say they didnt hire you for a certain reason

even if you did an investigation on it, they could always say they are looking for so and so in a person, or they had a certain trait they are looking for regardless of looks etc.

walk into any of those places, i doubt ugly chicks would be appling for anything but dish washer positions in the first place :P
