Hello,

I'm in need of photoshop for my MacBook. Does anyone here have a retail copy of 7 or 8 (CS)?? Sealed, unregistered, brand new, barely used?!? Something along those lines.
Unfortunately I do not enough funds to buy the new CS4 so one of the older ones will do.

Admins/mods: If this is the wrong place to post, please move this thread. Thank you very much.

Thanks
Mike

any adobe apps prior to CS3 will run like ass on an intel mac like your mac book. get a copy of CS3 or CS4 instead. a legit copy CS3 might be hard to find as most people would keep their copy and purchase a legit upgrade package for cheap.

your other options are to go open source and try GIMP or Seashore... or hit up your piratebay and grab a copy of the full CS4 suite.

See if any of your friends younger siblings go to SFU or UBC, then you can buy the education version, which is only $300 or so for CS4.

Bonus! I never thought of that. My co-worker's girlfriend is studying at UBC right now. I'll ask him about it.

One problem though... I hear the new CS4 requires 3GB or more of memory? Is this true?

Thank you very much!
Mike
