hello. so my buddy and I. find this GIRL attractive. Seeing how he is the shy type. i decided to help him out by getting her number (i got her # thru a lady friend) So i gave the # to my buddy and he TXT her. she didnt reply so he got all upset and embarrased (she doesnt even know what he looks like) and saying hes never goona do this ever again.
(LOL I know)
so seeing how he isnt goona grow some balls and talk to her.
would it be okay for me to ask her out for drinks etc....?
if i did ask her out. how do u think this would affect my friendship with my buddy?
just to clear things up.
we all seen each other at a club. she even asked my buddy to take a picture for her.
and i KNOW she doesnt remember him.

I've gone through similar situations too--and the best thing you could do is just to talk to your buddy about it. If he's cool with it, then play ball. If not, there will always be other prospects.

so the girl hasn't even seen your friend before and he texts her? isn't that kinda creepy? If I were her I wouldn't text back somebody I didn't know either, it's just weird/creepy/stalking etc...
but to get back on topic, I would definatley ask him or talk to him, but has she seen you before?

Thats a little weird, why not get your lady friend to introduce you guys first, THEN ask her out for drinks?
Anyway, just to be on the safe side I'd ask for permission from your buddy. After all, you did say you were gonna help him out. It would be a kick to the balls if you turned around and just went for it without saying anything

Out of respect ask your buddy, but you should go for her. Make sure you have some face time with her before texting her out of the blue, otherwise you'll come off as creepy imo. (on that note: get her number DIRECTLY, not indirectly through the friend)
