that's insane. And he still has half a trip to go.

I don't think I could "Waste" (not the right word) 2 years walking though.

So to my understanding, he visited Germany and flew back a few times, but didn't record the kilometers? I saw Munich once and it seemed like the counter was still moving.

Hmm.. someone taking up an adventure of a lifetime.. versus what most people do with their time (working at some lame job for decades.. watching stupid hockey games.. get fat)

I think he had to take breaks, and go back to work or something, then flies back to where he left off to continue the journey.

doing these kinds of things seems pretty cool. if somebody asked you "what did you do that was so special in life?" this guy can say he walked across china

The songs I used in the video are 1) Zhu Fengbo - "Olive Tree" and 2) The Kingpins - "L'aventurier" - visit the Kingpins website if you want to know more, they are very cool I think.

i was going to say the opposite... it's not as epic as something like climbing everest, but to be able to achieve and enjoy a goal in life while u still can (instead of being stuck as an office drone worrying about paying the bills and the stupid canucks like i am... sigh) i say
