this is the stock GTR too, and NOT the V-spec. And as for the ACR Viper being the only production car to do it faster, I doubt that bugs anyone but the most hardcore GTR fanboys. The GTR is a car that weighs almost 4000lbs with driver inside, has roughly 420-440whp and it constantly goes up against cars with about 3000lbs with 500-600whp, still owns them and still gets no respect cuz people are annoyed with all its hype. And by the way you should have madw it clear that you're not talking about a stock Viper, its factory modified. Maybe a fairer comparison would have been against the Nismo GTR when it gets released, cuz the V-spec wont cut it with only a few extra HP. I though Dodge was filing bankruptcy this month? They went out swingin though the ACR Viper is a sweet ride

I'll tell ya how the GTR did it, they washed off all the spray paint off the track for better grip, did their hotlap, killed it, then re sprayed it again just to fck with Porsche.....

wow.. I think I'm actually onto something... jokes aside I'm actually really looking at this picture now and have come to a conclusion that all this spray paint on the surface must in some way affect traction and grip. You're basically putting another layer of a foreign substance over the cement, and I'm pretty sure that paint is a lot more slippery than cement since it's not made to grip rubber like cement is. Am I wrong or would this be considered a logical conclusion ??

Nissan went to nurburgring twice with the regular r35. Their first time they set a record, the northern section of the nurburgring had moisture on the road. Maybe they went a second time to get a true reading?

Porsche cares for sure, after making a press release claiming that Nissan cheated. Poor sportsmanship if you ask me. Any car company can claim that the other had cheated, and take 1 of their cars, do a lap, and say "see, it didn't make a record breaking time" Nissan couldve pulled a porsche car, did a lap, and say they didn't make their press released time either, but they didn't.

Yeah it's something to talk about. A pig heavy car with less power competing with the big boys. Did you want to sit and talk about how fast cars are fast? Or how a slower, heavier car beat a fast car? Cause Im pretty sure talking about how fast cars are fast has been beaten to shit years ago....
