For your price range, you might be able to find a '94 (first year with the 1.8).

I've got a 91 white miata.
stock with sony mp3 deck and K&N FIPK intake kit.
mint soft top, with extra rear plastic window.
body is good,
too bad i was involved in an accident few months ago, now the car has some front end damage.
also, mileage is over what youre looking for, its now at 228,000km.
looking for $2800 firm for the car, or $3500 with white hardtop and extra side latches.
