How long will Canada Post hold a missed delivery for?

Like the title says, I searched their website but there isn't a specific time listed.

I'm going to be away for a few days and will miss the delivery, and won't be back till 5 days later (3 business days) I'm hoping my package doesn't get returned to the sender.

Does anyone know off the top of their head? Or have an 'attempted delivery' card with them and can read me the details printed on it?

Thanks in advance =)

Looked it up further on Canada Post's website. You have 5 days to pick it up until they send a "Final Notice" card, and then another 10 days until it's RTS'ed.

You should be fine.

EDIT: The direct footnote from the site itself
Quote:

A Delivery Notice card is used to show that the item is available for pick up at a nearby post office. A Final Notice card will be sent to the addressee if the item has not been picked up after 5 calendar days. The item will be held at the post office for a total of 15 calendar days after which time it will be returned to the sender.
