Dell 2408 and macbook pro

I have a macbook pro (non-unibody, summer 2007 model). I also have a Dell 2408 hooked up to it but I can't get the monitor match my MBP display. I've calibrated both with a spyder2 colorvision. The Dell is still over saturated compared to the mbp. I've set the Dell 2408 to Mac gamma and calibrated several times but I still get the same results. Manually tweaking the RGB on the monitor after calibration has gotten me close but with some photos it still shows over saturated.

I had a Dell 2005FPW prior and its' calibration matched my mbp display when calibrated with the spyder2.

Tips?

Not sure but I know the 2005wfp had a nicer panel (S-IPS) opposed to the 2008WFP.
That could be the reason.

I've found some settings on macrumors.com, I'm gonna give those a shot. And yea, the 2005wfp was a good monitor ><.

Yeah... it definitely may have something to do with the panel type.

Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.
