yea that sounds about right if you're driving in the city for the most part.
i get about 13L/100km but i have a 2 door coupe 6MT, that's 80% city 20% highway.
a few things you have to put into the calculation. your car is 4wd regardless of whether or not it's in 4wd mode, is a bit less efficient than a 2wd. and you have a 3.5L 306HP gas guzzling engine in a car that weighs upwards of 3500lbs.
also EPA estimates are never quite right.
Yeah fuel economy was the one thing that caused my parents not to buy that car when we were car shopping (we were looking at the 4WD).

15L/100km doesn't sound too bad, especially since you just picked it up, maybe you've been driving a bit more generously with the accelerator.
But our X3 gets 14.2L/100km and has 260 hp but weighs quite a bit more (300-500lbs not sure)
But still 15 isn't too hard to live with
I think I'm spoiled (fuel efficiency-wise) driving the A3. On a clear cruise home from UBC along Marine I get <7.0/100km. Lowest I've gotten was 6.4 . I usually get around 6.6 if I head through the Wendy's drive thru.
When I drive the minivan (Toyota Sienna, 3.3L V6, heavy as fuck) it's like stuck at 13-14L/100km and I'm like wtf go down.

We get about the same in our G35S. It's the RWD and this is driving home from Downtown during rush hour

iuno you're comparing a 6.1L V8 and a 5.7L V8
but i've seen Denali's and Tahoes get like fucking 14-15l/100km.

Mileage sounds about right - especially for city driving.
