Coming back from my trip (airplane ticket question)

I'm coming back from my trip and was wondering if I have to print a boarding pass for it? If not what do I need to bring with me so I can get approved for my ticket?

Umm, you will need a boarding pass to board a plane and enter the secured area. Some airlines accept electronic boarding passes, like Westjet and Air Canada.

Your name and passport is usually enough to check in at the airport. Your eticket number would be better if you have it in the event they can't find your ticket using your name.

if you don't have your info you gotta line up at the counters. the online stuff just speeds you through it. when in doubt just show up hours early and head to the counter w/ passport

generally you get both bording passes (there and return) when you take off the first time.

I know someone 2 years ago had to buy another ticket to come come home after losing their bording pass.. it was a group of like 20. 19 people had tickets. 20th had passport etc but not the bording pass. $700 lesson learned. she had to buy her own seat again.. I wish I knew which airline it was. That would be a good reason to avoid them.

Really? Everytime I fly, I never get my return boarding pass. I just go to the airport and check in and they give me my pass.

+1. I've never gotten BOTH outbound and return boarding passes on initial check in. You should only get the return boarding pass after you check in at the airport for your return flight.

If you have a connecting flight, then you'll get the boarding pass for each leg of the trip (but never the return trip).

Just show them some ID, if international probably your passport. If you bought a ticket there will be a reservation under your name.

Bring your passport + the receipt of the ticket and check in at the airport.

This is wrong.

One needs to check in for the departing and return flights; each time a boarding pass will be issued.
