subwoofer rattles at low volumes?
is it half blown? it still bumps when turned up loud but at low - med volumes it kinda rattles

It's time for a new woofer. In the meantime, crank it up!!!

The woofer sounds a little mis-aligned. Buzzes at lower volumes and sounds fine when turned up? Yeah, it happens sometimes. Could have happened in shipping or just over time. Not much you can do without rebuilding it at least.

What sub is it? If its a cheapie then its time to look for a new sub.
