career planning and IT

Hey guys I'm looking to get into college I'm not exactly sure what I want to do I have narrowed it Down that I want to get into IT industry. Any suggestion for well payed jobs or high demand in IT? Also bin looking for career planning advice and seems like bcit has no counselling and kwantlen won't help with career planning u guys know where I can get career planning from?

Best advice: do what you LIKE to do.

Doing the job just for the cash will not get you far into that particular career you are in.

A lot of people start out as a business analyst (which is a really broad job title) when they enter in that related industry i believe ... unless you are looking for something more technical, that would be the dba route

Database, programming - they always pay pretty decent. However you need a certin type of personality to make that a profession.
