I was reading an article about DC writers. They said their biggest wish would be to be able to go back to the days when Lois Lane didn't know Superman was Clark Kent.
I have a feeling in a few years you'll see Archie writers looking back on the good old days when there was a love triangle between Archie, Betty, and Veronica with Cheryl and Reggie thrown in there too.

i go with the comment that he'll hitch veronica and see betty on the side 
there is some sort of online blog for the archie characters set up by the comic publishers but i don't know where it is... someone posted elsewhere that archie is going to get jughead (who is close friends with betty) to be best man and veronica was thinking of asking betty to be her maid of honor... that's cold.

It'll be the very next week.
This marriage story is set in the future, after the gang has graduated from college already.
So all stories going forward will still be in the present, ie Archie and Veronica will not have been married yet, and being that Archie and the gang have been teenagers for the last 100 years or whatever, it won't be anytime soon that they "catch up" to the marriage story 5-6 years in the future.
