i learnt it as a kid.

you put it in your mouth, and swallow. i don't even need water.
just practice doing the swallowing motion a lot LOL HAHA
empty mouthed. then do it with water, or icecream or whatever. do u not notice when you eat noodle soup, like 80% of the noodles that go into your mouth arent really chewed? u just swallow it.

same way. mind over matter. pop it in your mouth, drink some water and just swallow like there's only water in your mouth.

i like gel caps. i fucking hate the regular caps though. if you don't swallow them fast enough, you get the taste of chalk in your mouth.

This sounds funny, but tell yourself if you don't swallow the pill you are going to die. That's how I learned, I basically just forced myself to.

Now I swallow pills dry.

I bite the pill as I dont want the pill/medication to melt in my mouth. I then take a gulp of fluid to wash it down. Most medications tastes disgusted that's why I bite it rather than leaving it on my tongue to melt.

I couldn't learn till recently... i'm early 20's as it is.

I just learned to have a small sip of water... drop the pill (till it floats and it's not resting on your tongue)

then take another swig of water and swallow.

The whole idea of floating it first, is so that the pill doesn't touch, and give you the idea that you have a pill in your mouth to begin with.

Honestly, girls should have no problem with this XD

i do the same thing as diggy, swallow a bit of water first, then put pill in mouth with a mouthful of water and swallow again. much easier this way.

I didn't actually know about this, but it also maters depending person to person about how much water.

Usually, when i take the first sip, it's quite a little amount of water, just enough to make the pill not sink, but not touch the roof of my mouth, and the 2nd sip is a huge swig... like when you're thirsty.

Depends on the medicine, I'd say. Some pills are designed to dissolve (and thus absorbed by your body) at a certain rate. If you grind it up, you're messing with that property.
