So, Friday late afternoon, I was heading into Richmond, driving up Boundary Road and I spot this blue EG coming up behind me. Traffic was busy, but not heavy considering it was rush hour. The EG passes me as we're driving by Central park and then we stop at the lights at 49th Ave and that's when I notice the driver in the EG is wearing a helmet!!!....:haha: Not sure why, considering how hot it was that day.....but this is the best picture that I got:

did he have a rollcage?
if so, not a bad idea...look stupid but better than cracking your head open on the cage if you get in an accident

If you get in an accident, ICBC might not give you coverage. Why would you wear a crash helmet unless you planned to get in an accident?

Then I would ask the adjuster: why does my car have bumpers, doors, a roof, airbags, side impact beams, head restraints, seatbelts and DOT approved glass....unless I planned on getting into an accident?

No one here does this for fun? I remember boosting back from mission raceway and I put my helmet on once cause I thought it was funny :D

No one here's ever puts their ski goggles on while driving to the hills either?? lol

Plus, isn't it more dangerous to drive in regular city traffic with a helmet cos it limits ur visibility? i mean the accidents we get in aren't even that serious that u'd need a helmet.

Well I wore my hockey goalie helmet before... but I was just the passenger.
I just wanted attention... but this was at night though. And this was back when I was in gr.10.

A couple days ago my friend finished screwing on visors on our helmets as i let him borrow my old one. Then we wore em in the car, both of us in the front seats. Got a couple stares and smiles on that one.

he was taken away by random people and bukkaked on as a kid. ever since his child hood, he lived in fear of random ppl bukkaking on his face, hence why he wears the helmet

fyi, his helmet has wiper so in case he ever does get bukkaked on, he can turn the wiper on and see the next batch coming at him

MC's don't have B pillars and side windows to impede their vision. Let alone those silly things like crumple zones, seatbelts, a roof, side impact beams, etc

Have you ever tried shoulder checking in a car with a helmet? It's not easy.

I think it's a dumb thing to do but still funny as hell.
Especially when it's 4 guys in a sedan. LOL

I'v done this before too! we were on the way to TBC so I decided to wear my brand new RF1000! My friend was wearing his too. It was funny as hell and we ended up talking to a cute chick in an STI that saw us and got a good laugh out of it.
Vancouver gets boring sometimes...gotta get creative!
