I want to get something like this since I don't want to be renting their body amour for $50/day for 3 days:

Are there some local places where I can get this or something similar? It costs $200 at whistler.

I can get the knee pads and elbow pads at Canadian tire or sport chek unless you recommend otherwise.

I also need to get a bmx style helmet, where can I get this at?

Thanks!!!

you need a full face helmet and proper pads.
Go to any local bike shop
its a good investment, my arm old pads got stolen and I never got around to buying new ones.

661 Pressure suit or Dainese ftw.

And yes get a fullface. Chicklets are expensive to replace.

I have full leg pads which I'm planning to throw away. They are in great condition and only been used 6 times or so.

If you live in East Van, you can come and pick them up for free if you want. XD

arm pads, knee pads and full face at a minimum

if you are a high flyer , pressure suit is a good idea too

I may armor up to learn quicker on my BMX. Attack everything recklessly and hopefully avoid too many serious injuries.

you can buy a decent dirtbike chest protector for under $100

i dunno how u guys get so fucked up on pedal bikes.. i've laied my dirtbike down multiple times going 60k+ and I never took that much damage :P

gloves, chest protector, helmet = good to go

^ yeah, next time make at least 2 threads. One is pointless!

edit: haha I didn't see the other thread. Meh, who cares anyway though, not like he's Timposting.
