Curious, had a discussion for lunch wiht my co-workers about relationship and the topic of the "rebound" came up.
So who uses it?? Or i should say, do you believe in it, my female co-worker said she was guilty of using rebound, but we all agree on the fact that, having another person around, make the pain of a breakup more bearable whether you were the one that broke up or got broken up with.
That being said, the time was crazy varied, even a long 2year+ relationship.

i prefer not to use it 'cuz someone usually always gets hurt in the end.
However, the longest relationship (and the best one) came from a rebound.
come to think of it, both of my best ones did. LOL

I've used it on several occasions, though I've always been the type that prefers to make things clear ahead of time.
Besides, everybody likes a kinky mutual beneficial partnership (or I just speak for myself).

i think when the person that was dumped is more prone to getting a rebound so he/she can feel like they are still wanted and want to get over their ex. it's normal and i think everyone at one point will do it.
does it work? well it depends on the person.

Just be unflinchingly honest with people after a breakup. Tell them you just got out of one and etc. etc.

rebounds are a great temporary fix, but when regain consciousness you'll most likely be like "WTF was i thinking????"
