I have an older computer that I want to use to play avi's on my living room LCD and I want to know what would be the best video card suited for that. The MB I have is a MSI KT-3 Ultra with the following specs...

• VIA® KT333 Chipset
- FSB @200/266/333 MHz
- AGP 4X and PCI Advanced high performance memory controller

Slots

• One AGP slot
- AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) specification compliant
- Supports AGP 2.0 1x/2x/4x
• Five 32-bit PCI bus slots (support 3.3v/5v PCI bus interface)
• One CNR (Communication Network Riser) slot

*Complete specs here (http://www.pcupgrade.co.uk/productdetails.asp?ProductID=3474&categoryid=261)*

Ya, it's that old. The video card doesn't have to be fancy, as long as it can output a decent resolution and playback smoothly. It'll be networked to my desktop which is housing a TB right now with all my movies/shows.

Let me know your guys thoughts. Thanks.

+1 for the 9800 Pro. You may have to Craigslist that or eBay it. I used to own that 9800 and even past its prime it was still a mini beast!
