So, I have a friend who just bought FCP and he is looking for a HDD solution to store his work on.
Can anyone recommend a HDD array where you can plug in some 1TB drives and call it a day? He doesn't want 5-7 external drives with 5-7 wires hanging out everywhere.
I am not sure what this device/housing is called but he needs/wants FireWire instead of USB 2.0. Some people are recommending LaCie's storage solution but those things cost $900-$1000!! I am sure there is a cheaper solution?
