Last week, my terayon modem would disconnect and flash red, 4 times every night. It was annoying as fuck. Seems to have stopped doing that for now.

60gb cap has been there for a long long time. Xtreme has 100gb i think which is what I'm using. It never goes down...lol maybe like 3x in the 3+ years I've had it?

yes I walked in and walked out 2 mins later. they don't even ask. they are probably giving out lots every day.

yeah Powerboost is dumb as a marketing ploy, but I'll admit it does speed up downloads of albums by a fraction as long as your album isn't lossless. Anything over 100MB and Powerboost (on High Speed, at least) is negligible

the morotola modems generally have faster speeds and you're missing out on powerboost

it's best to let the account holder come into retail to get the swap done. just bring in the terayon modem and the power cable and they'll swap it for you. if not, you can get it mailed out as well

once you're at home, just plug it all in as usual and you should be good to go. you may need to power cycle a router if you have one

it happened to me last few weeks, connections on and off at night time, and lags when i play 360 online and finally called in, and said signal from my side looks little off, told me they need to send a tech. to my house and shaw guy came, changed spliter and BAM! everything works fine now.

Yesterday and Today, I had problems with my internet as well. Sudden drops even though I still get 4 green lights and the flashing yellow light. I just reset my router and Motorola cable modem.

Getting problems with my internet as well. Every now and then throughout the day, the connection will drop. On the cable modem it just sits on send and the green light just flashes. It comes back after awhile and sometimes right away if i hard reboot the modem. Called shaw and they're sending a tech over too. This is a direct line from the wall though, no spliter.

Yup I was lazy too and switched my teryon to the new motorola in january and could see that my speeds were way better. I wish I would have done it earlier :D

No issues here and to be honest, I've really had no issues with Shaw internet for the last few years. I can't even remember the last time I've called their customer support. The only issues I've had in the last month or so is slow speeds early morning around this time but it usually clears up.

^ are you using extreme-i? when i first got extreme-i after the modem upgrade i was getting 25mb/s and 1mb/s. but after awhile the 25 slowly decreased, and then shaw changed their speeds on all the plans. and now my extreme-i is at like 16-18mb/s ):
