it says in the article that the attack occured inside the victim's apartment, so i would assume the pan was from the victim's own kitchen.

how would that guy have time to go into the kitchen and get a frying pan was the guy not watching him or something. And why choose a frying pan there is an arsenal of other weapons in the kitchen knives, clevers, carvers, etc...

when i watched the news on tv, it mentioned that the victim had been slashed as well with a knife.

OK for those who apparently can't comprehend, Cole's notes:

The VICTIM drove the car for sale to the ATTACKER's place, to show it. It doesn't explain where the the pan (and maybe knife) came from. After the attack, the ATTACKER drove the VICTIM to a clinic in the VICTIM's car, dropped him off and TOOK the car. 5 hours later the ATTACKER was apprehended at his home.

Ya, I just assumed he would be outside or in the underground. Who goes takes a car to someones apartment and then goes inside? The cars outside I would have thought any conversations took place out there. Unless you plan on killing the seller you have 0% chance of getting away with taking the car and even then you're still probably going to get caught.
