the only one i know about is the joby girilla pod and im not sure about the other brands and how good they are

I would personally go with the first one as it seems more solid, with a flat footed area on the bottom of the legs.

But it also depends on what type of shot you are going to take.

I'd never trust those to hold my camera. I bought a gorilla pod off ebay and they can barely hold up my flash. maybe those ones are better quality.
