I would personally go with the first one as it seems more solid, with a flat footed area on the bottom of the legs.

But it also depends on what type of shot you are going to take.

I'd never trust those to hold my camera. I bought a gorilla pod off ebay and they can barely hold up my flash. maybe those ones are better quality.
