what are you mounting your G25 on? I used to use those Table-Mate for my old wheel...but now with the shifter it can get wobbly at times..so I'm just using a DIY wooden stand and using my couch

I'm going to use some old wooden boards and build a stand
Trying to make the shifter sit lower than the wheel
Then use a racing seat that I can't sell as the seat

Just picked up a g25, gt5 prologue supports it Im hoping gt5 will as well.

The G15 keyboard is nice and solid, was pretty useful back when I used to play WoW with the little lcd panel being able to display either your WoW stats or which people are speaking on vent so you could play full screen. The quick macro buttons are more of a gimmick, but all around a good keyboard. I got it on sale back in the day.

Talk about fast delivery, I ordered the G25 from dell yesterday, came this morning. Couldnt resist to try out manual mode with the clutch and all. It's pretty awesome, car stalls and everything if u just pop it into first with no revs and the clutch has a preset takeoff point. Although it would've been nice to have some force feedback on the clutch pedal lol.

All in all happy with my purchase now just need to get a better surface to mount my g25.

GT5 Prologue, even though the game menu doesnt show support, the game supports it fine. To activate the clutch action in game u just push the triangle button's equivalent on the shifter portion's 4 buttons.

You'll know it works when the thing shifts into neutral. One complaint about the wheel is sometimes I have difficulty finding 5th and 6th, probably due to the fact that the thing i have it mounted on moves a bit when i shift lol.

Just shift like in real life... If you were to pop ur shifter in to neutral, it sits in the middle of the shifter and all u have to do is push up... Ive had soo many people play with my G25 my shifter finally broke(almost every1 on their first time shifts from 2nd to 5th.... Went back to logitech and sent them my shifter, and they send me a whole brand new/ refurb wheel... Know i got 2 wheels 1 without shifter for the when the kids want to play and the other is for me only... The shifter feels really fragile but shifts soo smooth... The most common problem, is that the shifter wont go into reverse and you gotta warranty for a new one..

i went to calibrate it on my PC and it's still there (thank goodness)

I had to ship it out myself with my own box.. I think it cost me $25, but for $25 u get 2 wheels i dont think any1 would question that. And the wheel without the shifter is perfectly fine except u loose all the additional buttons..

Thats not PS3, hes playing LFS for PC... Best game in the world for the G25... Plus LFS has soo many diffrent mods. ie, drifting, offroad courses, city driving(with cops) one of my favorites and much much more... That guys setup is too much for me... LOL.. If you guys have a g25 or like racing with mouse try the LFS demo its free and lots of multiplayer servers with drifter and racers... Best simulation racing game out there.. Besides the graphic, since this game is faily old and always gets updates the graphics arent as good as any other new racing game, but the simulation is out of this world...

We always cruise around looking for cops and try to lose them while drifting... LOL... The demo is pretty good for the fact that its a demo... You can still play online with other demo players and drift and more but kinda sucks cause ur limited for 4 cars...

Basically for this game the mods are pretty cool... Although no there are no street light, since your playing on a racing track. Servers divide the track into 2 lanes... they have 3rd party apps for cops to run sirens and lights and even warning signs... IE cause its a game ppl dont usually notice when a cop is following them or chasing them, so they have huge banners that are on the top of your screen when playing so u know if you are getting chased or if there is a road block ahead... The site doesnt show anything about cop mods but there are many city driving servers out there.. You have to work your way up by driving certain amount of KMs for better/faster cars... Each server is allowed to add a total of 512 objects in their server, now this could be barriers or barriers used to make parking lots....


When i first started playing i was only into the drifting but since this game has evolved there is soo much out there....

Ony of my favorite things to do, is because i have a really fast drag setup for one of my cars.. I usually host Illegal drag events on the server and tones of ppl usually come and drag, but when the cops come... ITS A SCRAMBLE

Also another nice thing is because soo many kids play LFS, there are admins that acctually treat ppl with respect and remove all the gay bashers and ppl that fuck around.... IE Ramming cops to get them to chase you...




I myself have a few good custome made track with BL GP Car park.. Like there is Sumo wrestling with you cars, rallycross with jumps... drifting for points... and much more... Even drag races...
