How you should NOT ship wheels!

Quote:
OK, so I recently had rim problems, needed a set of cheap 19x10 to get buy until my 3 piece forged wheels arrive. I found a set of 19x10 +22 Tenzo type M listed on evolutionm. They were 700 bucks, plus shipping. The rims looked perfect in the photos and the owner said they were on his car for 2 weeks. Ok, sold. So I sent about 800 bucks and they were to be shipped out last weds., they didn't get shipped until Friday ( guy was sick ) so, no problem. I just said, get better and do me a favor, take extra time packing these wheels, especially the faces. I don't want them to get scratched...bla,bla,bla. He then asks if I want insurance, I say yes for 800 bucks. That requires me to have to sign for the packages.......

This is how they were left sitting in my front yard......

Wow, when I sold my 22's I used like 3 rolls of bubblewrap from Staples. Shit was so secure that the buyer said it took him almost 10 minutes to unwrap one wheel.

I got 2 wheels from Prince George Auto Wrecking and they were packed that badly. One ended up being bent, not sure if it was sent that way or not.

BALLS.

F*ck. Some douche seller did the same thing with my 17" AMGs a month ago!

I had a bad feeling so I just paid him $50ish to include the tires the rims were mounted on. Boy am I glad I did!

Fortunately (or unfortunately) all of the damage was limited to 1 wheel (all 10 spokes got trashed). And of course, Fedex declines my claim! A$$holes. Thank goodness the wheel normally gets quite dirty so you'd think the damage is just brake dust.

Just so you guys know, Fedex is not obligated to follow the THIS SIDE UP or FRAGILE labels, according to customer relations.
