Ridgeline =

-ugly piece of shit
-no payload
-no towing capacity (any properly equipped C-Lai SUV ML,X5,Q7 will out tow the ridgeline's pathetic 5000lb capacity) don't even compare it with a proper truck
-no power (250 really!?!?! in a truck)
-no torque
-shitty fuel economy considering it only weighs 4400 lbs and only has a 3.5 L engine
-short cargo bed

I see what you did there, Wikipedia'd the awards!
Why don't u wikipedia sales figures?

better yet, the blank canadian sales figures!

Guiding people around the museum and explaining every boring figure XD

These cars remind me of my Playstation days :)
Ahh good old honda city turbo, neone import one of those here?

personally seems like there's too many CRX
and not a single S2K?

What you bought a ridgeline or something?
besides calling it ugly none of the points I made could be considered false.

I wonder why Honda would keep this facility a "secret".

ilvtofu
06-18-2009, 03:02 PM
It doesn't seem like an actual "secret" but it's definitely not as showy or well known unlike porsche and mercedes who have those flashy facilities, but this one has a bit of charm, it's got that japanesey organized feel.

I want that yellow Type-R.

Oh it would be nice to have an un-molested R... as I'm guessing these cars are essentially brand new, if not brand spankin' new?

Well IT'S GOT VTEC!!!

And reliabilty...cant say the same for ur POS car.

Fast and Furious made you hate honda? Grow up...stop spamming and trashing this thread.

I don't hate hondas... I just hate the ridgeline, that's all

ilvtofu
06-18-2009, 09:13 PM
and anyways, my car doesn't have any reliability issues, just the parts haven't been changed in ages LOL, the things go when you'd expect them to, it's turning 22 this month!

The car has typical wear and tear, A/C still works well and so do all the power windows etc., to say my car is unreliable would be horribly wrong!

The car never hesitates when it starts and never feels like it's gonna break down.
I'm not saying it's bulletproof but it ain't a early 2000 benz either.

Attack of the honda avatars much?
I don't see what u guys are getting so worked up about
So what I dissed the ridgeline. Okay if u own one I could see
Why you'd take offense. But I only made valid points about it
And hey I love porsches but if someone disses the cayenne Im
Not gonna get all worked up. Grow up fanbois...

As for the mod. Try me I've been here for 2 months u think I really give a fuck.
Notorious jerk just fucken try me. It'll give these guys someone to yell pwnd at

As a truck, the Ridgeline fails horribly. And I'm not talking about a full-time, contractor-style truck; it still fails merely being a weekend project kind of truck. Sure, it may be comfortable, but if it doesn't work as a truck, it's completely useless.

That'd be a really cool museum to visit. I'm not a big fan of the "sporty" or newer Honda's, but I'd absolutely love to check out some of the old classic Honda's in there.

I'd like to add that I've got the utmost respect for HMC
They've relatively managed well through the recession.
Just released the quite promising insight and rumours of
A new supercar have certainly caught my interest.

Everyone makes mistakes including car manufacturers
Just because I don't like the ridgeline doesn't mean I
Don't like your integra or Rsx or s2k or NSx and so on
Honda has made plenty of excellent cars and I feel like I
Should clarify that I have nothing against the brand. And I never will
Towarda any brand. I haven't and will never judge any car by it's brand
because that's Just stupid.

^^ exactly that. The toyota Tacoma is a much more useful truck that is also cheaper.

And yes the museum certainly is interesting. Personally I like all those cars from the early 80s to early 90s. Honda had some interesting cars introduced in that era when Americans and even Germans weren't making very appealing cars

I have a request. Please don't post in this thread again. You made your point - you don't like Ridgelines. Lets all move on and stay on topic.

Now, I love that Type R! I remember watching those race against 4th gen Prelude SRV's on Speedvision back in the day.

instead of calling people's cars POSs
and telling ppl to "STFU" because I didn't like a truck made by Honda.

Oh man... You have no idea how badly I wish I could have that R. Especially with less than 500 miles on it?! Damn... I would treat that motor better than my g/f. :D
