The lancia was sick. The guy said is had something around 340 hp IIRC not to mention the slicks.

I might be wrong but that looks like a Borla exhaust. They sound better than stock, but nowhere near what Murcielago is capable of..

in my personal opinion, I'd say

The Ferrari California was so ugly compared to the other cars, the only nice thing about it is that it sounds like an enzo... but for style and quality it was a Honda.

That SLR did a mini burnout at the Dundrave Show and shine. He was on a cruise with "QWKLEE" and 2 other F430s heading towards the Italian car show. Pretty fun, seemed like they were taunting the Porsches. Oh and the yellow Gallardo with the Albertan plate tried to do a burn out but fail and made the whole place smell like burnt clutch...lol
On another note, I didn't see any CGTs this year at the Porsche meet. I'm assuming they were at a Track day or something but a Black(Orange badging) 997 GT3 RS showed up.

I went to both shows, didn't bring my cameras this year. :)

Can a mod please give Timpo some points and maybe ban him from VAC. This thread was obviously about the Italian and French show in North Van this weekend and the appreciation of what a great show it was.

Then Timpo proceeds to destroy the thread by posting some modded Ferraris from Japan, irrelevant motorcycles and exhaust sound clips.

Like Matsuda said....everything he posts turns into a pissing contest.

You must be reminded that this show is meant to be an ITALIAN and FRENCH car show (I was not impressed to see these non-Italian cars admitted into the show. There are other venues for these cars to participate in).

If you are refering to an older gentleman who was directing traffic onto the field as a "gatekeeper", I should have you know that Mr. Fritz Duernberger has been organising this event for the past 20 years for our club (yes, this was the 20th Anniversary for this event) and IT ALMOST DID NOT HAPPEN THIS YEAR, but due to his dilligent persistance with the city, secured the event and the show did go on. Mr. Duernberger is a prominent collector of Alfa Romeo's (had owned a Zagato TZ-1 years ago which recently sold this year for $440,000 USD), motorcycles (two of which were featured in ICBC's 2009 calendar) and close to 50 Italian bicycles. He is a down-to-earth guy and also a very good friend of mine, so I do not appreciate an attitude that degrades his work.

This show may be free to spectators and participants, but it ain't free to run! Our club (the Italian Car Club of B.C.) covers the cost of the city permit and the Ferrari Club of America and the Ferrari dealer also chipped in, covering the liability insurance which in total, runs into the thousands of dollars. Just for an event that ran for a few hours. And on top of that, the dealer brought out the California for a public debut. I should hope people will show a little more appreciation as there is so much that goes on behind the scenes of an event like this...
