HOLLYWOOD, CA (NEWS1130) - Johnny Carson's longtime sidekick Ed McMahon has died. The 86 year old TV personality died Tuesday morning at Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center.
McMahon had a host of health and personal problems over the past few years, including being hospitalized with pneumonia, breaking his neck in 2007 and other ailments earlier this year. CNN is reporting he died after a long battle with cancer, but the official cause of death has not been released.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela, and five children. A sixth child, McMahon's son Michael, died of cancer in July 1995.

RIP. I remember watching the guy on Star Search.
He got into debt from a couple of bad divorces and some close contacts stealing from him, if I remember correctly.
