James Camerons movie is just named Avatar... it has nothing to do with the cartoon

here's his movies plot synopsis with spoilers supposedly

Shamylan is the most overrated director on earth. I don't know how a guy who made ONE good movie (The Sixth Sense) and one decent movie (Unbreakable) gets to have his name attached to every movie title.

Shyamalan immediately butchered the Last Airbender series with this movie, from the terrible acting, rushed storyline, and generally wrong or vague information from the original cartoon series.
Plus, he got the actors' races all damn wrong.
To top it off, to complete the series, he'll have to make 2 more of this crap.

It was a rehash of the first season.
Iro wasn't a fat man.
Didn't see the faceless spirit.
So much of the storyline was cut out. Like the epic crazy parts in the cartoon.
3D was a fucking money grab, took off the glasses at some parts... it was perfectly clear. (IE no 3d effects used at all)
I saw this a week ago and the director ruined someone else's good work. I hope he never makes another movie again.

From what I hear, the movie is terrible.

The great part about the Avatar series was that it was FUN. It was kids having fun, acting like kids despite being part of this epic story. The movie has kids playing the roles but they might as well have been adults. I thought they put all the fight scenes in the trailer so people would think it's an action movie but apparently M. Night Shamananahahanasdngnama took all the fun and joy out of the story.
