| Aussie charge for murder in HK

Police in Hong Kong say they have charged a 22-year-old foreign national with murder over a fatal accident in which a taxi driver was killed.
A statement issued by the police did not name the man or say where he came from.
But earlier, media reports said an Australian man identified as 22-year-old Kelsey Michael Mudd had been held because the driver of a taxi he was travelling in died after a crash.
The reports say Mudd was in the taxi when he had a dispute with the driver in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The Sunday Morning Post says the car then smashed into three other taxis travelling in the opposite direction.
The taxi driver later died in hospital.
Reports also say the 22-year-old tried to drive off in the car, then hit another taxi.
He was reportedly arrested initially on suspicion of taking a vehicle without authority and drink driving.
The police statement says the suspect will appear in court today.

that was police but he was tending "an accident scene" not expecting that crazy man to drive the damaged vehicle away.....so he didn't handcuff him.
also Taxis in Hong Kong have steering column mounted shifter and a bench seat so you can quite easily drive a taxi from the passenger side hahhaha.
