: Is Oyama Japanese restaurant any good ?

Hi to all

Anyone here been to Oyama (newly opened by Kingsway and Royal Oak), used to be Johnstone House Korea BBQ if I remember it right.

Please kindly let me know.

Went there for the first few days it opened...

food = 7/10 on a korean infused japanese food joint.
setting = 7/10; clean with nice service.

just kinda wierd to know that this place used to be an embombing place for dead people.

the food was pretty decent

ordered a tonkatsu don and it was HUGE

i'd go back if i were in the area

and yes it is true....my General Managers parents were embalmed there....haha

Even from the outside it looks like a funeral home.

I've heard it's haunted too, which is kind of the reason I want to go try it. Food be damned.
