: Weight Training: How to get ripped arms?

In theory, once you get your arms to look bulky by doing "low reps, high weights"..you would want to switch to "high reps low weights" in order to achieve the "cut" look on your arms correct? By high reps I mean "12-15 reps" , low reps I mean "8-10 reps".

I have read a lot of things but this one makes the most sense. Anyone going through this right now?

Big and bulky will only look good under the shirt.

How do u get arms to look like they're flexing when it's just naturally hanging beside your body?

Wrong, High reps = 12-15, Low reps = 3-6


You wanna get ripped? Eat properly, work out consistently, and read articles online or buy a book. Honestly there isn't one thing I or anybody here can say to make you understand how to get "ripped".

Try the p90x, great reviews from real people. As far as the "How do u get arms to look like they're flexing when it's just naturally hanging beside your body? " goes, it take's time/hard work/dedication/knowing how to work out.

OP : you need to work your bi- biceps

2 sets of 2

1st set = low weight, high reps
2nd set = high weight, low reps

Feel the burn, watch them grow.

Honestly you do have to read a bunch of articles, gather a bunch of opinions and come up with your own plan that suits you...alot of people do not know what the fuck they are talking about when it comes to lifting. Do some research!

+1 Roger dat, lol.. when your standing there not flexing the muslce that shows the most and which is easy to work out is your tricep :P

his arms got like that mainly due to synthol injections in his arms (oil) which lots of bodybuilders use to increase the size of lagging bodyparts.

Allbeit im sure he used crank and gh aswell.

^ Agreed. But you can still have big arms with high body fat, minus the veins and ripness.

To a certain extent its a bit of genetics too..
One of my buddies has bigger arms then me and less body fat yet you can almost see sitrations and half the horseshoe in my triceps when I'm just standing around and his arms just look big..
