I remember a while back that Best Buy/ Future Shop had a program that when you bring in your old LCD monitor or TV and purchase a new unit, you get a certain amount off of your new unit's price. Do they still have this?

I know they literally just had and perhaps still do right now the promotion for old tv's but you gotta check.

It's really just a marketing promotion to think people are getting a deal.

My 4 year old LCD monitor just died on me. I figured i could get another 20 bux or something like that off a new one 22" one, which is on sale for 180 at best buy right now

too bad then.

Best buy only allows certain TV's which you can trade in, and they also jack up the price for the sale so you think you're getting a deal

Very rarely are there trade-in promos... not really worth holding off for in my opinion...

Just hit up craigslist as I know there are ALWAYS people on there hunting for deals. Good luck!

^ Or if it still works perfectly fine, you can just sell it on RS for whatever the discount would've given you. Help out a brotha. :)
