Formula DRIFT has been a big hit at Evergreen Speedway for several years now, located in Monroe, WA, it is only a short distance from Seattle. It is one of their fastest and most competitive circuits. Drivers reach speeds of over 90mph on corners 1&2 on the 5/8's track.

The Northwest is home to some of the region's most die-hard drift fans. The energy and excitement is often compared to that of Irwindale and the original “House of Drift.” The event’s headline moniker, “Breaking Point,” lives up to it’s name with many cars ending up as casualties to the track’s banking and tight transitions through the course. Last year’s event was historic as it was Formula DRIFT’s first rain event in history and the action did not fail to disappoint.

I go every year, its fucking rad, we post up in the beer garden get drunk and sprayed with rubber.

yeah man it is good times. other than wicked drifting there is tons of vendors, sick cars, hot models, cold beer, military recruitment, everything you need. walkin the pits is fun too, watch them wrench on cars and try to fix carnage.

lol @ the military recruitment. I do want to try the rock wall!

I've gone the past 3 years and it is always a good time. Bring an umbrella if there is a chance of rain. You are NOT allowed to leave and come back in.

also...

the food there is not the best. to avoid waiting on huge line ups at the concession and paying in US dollars for a hamburger just bring your own snack/sandwiches. when i went there last year, i dont remember them checking your stuff so im gonna bring my own food this year. :P

Rush has been playing a show called Drift Style that recaps the whole 2008 season round by round, its pretty good watch especially since its in HD!

had a tonne of fun today! ill upload pics as soon as i go through them.

smell of burning rubber, big 16oz beers, smoking, and got to meet tanner foust, which was pretty cool!
