doesnt need dual outputs, u can use a splitter if ur card doesnt have it.

If he wants 3 separate desktops, he's going to need 3 outputs.

what do u mean 3 desktops. most vid cards support dual view which is 2 desktops, even with a splitter. with a second card he can have 4 desktops without having 4 outputs. i set up computers at work like this all the time.

if depends on the motherboard, some motherboards do not support on-board + Pci-e at once

I mean 3 separate screens each with independent display (i.e. no duplication of what happens on one screen). You made it seem like having 2 screens and splitting the signal, which will duplicate the screens...?
